Well I seem to get less and less time to listen to the albums I download these days. Should have more free time once im done with exams, etc.

Anyways here are some of the great albums/demos/ep's i'v been listening to during the past few weeks. Genre's will range from Ambient Black Metal to Progressive and early Heavy Metal to Old School Death Metal.

Lets start off from Norwegian Black Metal

Hades Allmighty was formed in Bergen back in 1999 was they were initially known as HADES where they released the first two albums under that name which they changed to Hades Allmighty due to an American band of the same name. One of the key memebers of this band is Jorn Tunsberg who was in imprisoned back in 1992 for burning down the Asane Church along with Varg Vikerness.

About the album Millenium Nocturn, one of my favourite all time albums, starts off with a beautifull choral intro which certainly lays the ground work for the rest of the album. Note that this here is a rare sound which Hades Allmighty has managed to conjure. Recommended to fans of Fenriz's vocals on Isengard albums such as Vikerskugge and Hostmorke. Remi Andersen's (Drummer,Clean vocals) work on tracks such as A Ballad Of Death And Obsession and Nighttime Endurance are just fucking amazing.

More recommendations on the way :)

Yn Gizarm / Zuriaake  - Autuman of Sad Ode / Siming of Loulan

"This split is an excellent display of what two small bands can achieve. Two Black Metal bands from China. Zuriaake tried to give you a mournful and tranquil ambience, along with a artistic conception of Chinese landscape painting, with ancient poetic lyrics. Yngizarm in Vygur means "new city", it
locates to the southwest China, the rim of the Tarim basin. The band named itself Yngizarm, keeping the ancient spirits in mind, and provided you a pagan epic impression. This split was limited to 300 copies.

The quality and the diversity of this split is unequated. Both bands are very technical and they manage to create great sorrowful atmospheres. It's just perfect."

Zuriaake:
1. Dying In Autumn
2. Thinking In Autumn
3. Sad Ode
4. Elapsing In Autumn

Yn Gizarm:
5. The Ruins of Loulan
6. Ghosts In Ambush
7. Burying In The River of Peacock
8. Migration

M8l8th / Moloth

Highly Recommended! Great compositions and most of all great vocal work by this amazing Russian unit!

NSBM. Racist pricks as inidividuals, but personally this doesn't bother me as long as the music fits my mood.

Thanky, man. I'll check this out.

Theena:
I like Yn Gizarm so far, Burying in the River of Peacock is nice.

Zuriaake not so much.

Edit: Hahaha, Moloth starts off with a speech by Hitler. Fucking hell, the second track is a scorcher. The vocalist is one pissed off son of a bitch.
